Application technology:
1. Pre-treatment of bulbs*. Application rate of the preparation – 20 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.1 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 1 ton of bulbs. Planting stock treatment (soaking for up to 10-12 hours) by a Lignohumate solution with consumption rate of 100 l per 1 ton of bulbs. Combination with protectants or bio-preparations is recommended.
2. If an irrigation system is used, then the preparation is to be applied with water several times per season. Lignohumate solution concentration – 0.01% or 10 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.05 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 100 l of watering solution. If drip irrigation is used, then the preparation is to be applied at the last or last-but-one watering 1 time each 7-10 days. Lignohumate solution concentration – 0.01% or 10 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.05 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 100 l of watering solution.
Thus, thanks to the above described properties we have:
- increased crop yield;
- earlier and more profitable crop;
- better merchantability of the crop (higher content of dry substance);
- crop quality improvement (higher sugar content, but a smaller % of nitrates and heavy metal salts).
By virtue of its physiological requirements it is most preferable to apply to Spring onion in the open ground a potassium form with addition of a set of microelements.
* be careful about solution concentration
