Sea-buckthorn

Application technology:

1. Pre-treatment of seedlings. Lignohumate solution concentration – 0.05% (5.0 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.025 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 10 l of water). Planting stock treatment (soaking for up to 10-20 hours) by a Lignohumate solution with consumption rate of 1 l per 5 seedlings.

2. Watering of seedlings at the sprouter, during planting and after planting. The preparation is applied at the seedling phase while still in a nursery garden and also at the moment of planting them into the open ground: to be added into water or into fertilizer solutions. Lignohumate solution concentration – 0.02% or 20 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.1 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 100 l of watering solution.

3. Foliar dressing at early bud opening. Application rate of the preparation – 150 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.75 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 1 hectare at a consumption rate of 200-300 l/hectare and 900 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 4.5 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 1 hectare at a consumption rate of 800-1200 l/hectare. Standard or low-capacity sprayers can be used.

4. Foliar dressing at early fructification. Application rate of the preparation – 150 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.75 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 1 hectare at a consumption rate of 200-300 l/hectare and 900 grams of Lignohumate A, AM, or 4.5 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 1 hectare at a consumption rate of 800-1200 l/hectare. Standard or low-capacity sprayers can be used.

5. Foliar dressing at the fruit growth phase. Application rate of the preparation – 150 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.75 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 1 hectare at a consumption rate of 200-300 l/hectare and 900 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 4.5 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 1 hectare at a consumption rate of 800-1200 l/hectare. Standard or low-capacity sprayers can be used. It is recommended to apply Lignohumate in a mixture with protectors and soluble fertilizers.

6. If an irrigation system is used, then the preparation is to be applied with water several times per season. Lignohumate solution concentration – 0.01% or 10 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.05 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 100 l of watering solution. If drip irrigation is used, then the preparation is to be applied at the last or last-but-one watering 1 time each 7-10 days. Lignohumate solution concentration – 0.01% or 10 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.05 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 100 l of watering solution.

Thus, thanks to the above described properties we have:

- increased drought tolerance;

- better merchantability of the crop (increased intensity of berry colour);

- crop yield is increased.

By virtue of its physiological requirements it is most preferable to apply to Sea-buckthorn a potassium form with addition of a set of microelements.
