Application technology:
1. Seed* or bulb** pre-treatment. Application rate of the preparation: for seed treatment – 50 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.25 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 1 kilo of seeds. for bulb treatment – 20 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.1 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 1 ton of bulbs. Treatment: seed treatment (soaking for up to 10-12 hours) by a Lignohumate solution with consumption rate of 3 l per 1 kg of seeds; planting stock treatment (soaking for up to 10-12 hours) by a Lignohumate solution with consumption rate of 100 l per 1 ton of bulbs; Combination with protectants or bio-preparations is recommended.
2. Foliar dressing during the phase when 1 to 3 regular leaves are grown. Application rate of the preparation – 30 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.15 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 1 hectare. Consumption rate of the solution – 200 - 300 l per one hectare. Standard or low-capacity sprayers can be used.
3. Foliar dressing during the phase when 4 to 6 regular leaves are grown. Application rate of the preparation – 30 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.15 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 1 hectare. Consumption rate of the solution – 200 - 300 l per one hectare. Standard or low-capacity sprayers can be used.
4. Foliar dressing at the early bulbing stage. Application rate of the preparation – 30 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.15 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 1 hectare. Consumption rate of the solution – 200 - 300 l per one hectare. Standard or low-capacity sprayers can be used. It is recommended to apply Lignohumate in a mixture with protectors and soluble fertilizers.
5. If an irrigation system is used, then the preparation is to be applied with water several times per season. Lignohumate solution concentration – 0.01% or 10 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.05 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 100 l of watering solution. If drip irrigation is used, then the preparation is to be applied at the last or last-but-one watering 1 time each 7-10 days. Lignohumate solution concentration – 0.01% or 10 g of Lignohumate A, AM, or 0.05 l of Lignohumate B, BM per 100 l of watering solution.
Thus, thanks to the above described properties we have:
- increased crop yield;
- earlier and more profitable crop;
- better merchantability of the crop (higher content of dry substance);
- crop quality improvement (higher sugar content, but a smaller % of nitrates and heavy metal salts).
By virtue of their physiological requirements it is most preferable to apply to Onions a potassium form with addition of a set of microelements.
*- only if seeds are not incrusted or pelletized
** -be careful about solution concentration
